A Message From The Director

A brain tumor diagnosis is a life-changing event. At the Center for Neuro-Oncology, we partner with patients to provide the most effective available therapies, as well as to enable access to the most promising investigational treatments. In addition, we believe the best possible patient outcomes can be achieved only through a combination of the most effective brain tumor treatments and the promotion of behaviors and practices to improve overall health.

The Neuro-Oncology Wellness (NOW) Program addresses the goal of improving our patients’ overall health with an array of educational programming, interactive workshops, as well as provider- and peer-support groups, specifically designed for our patients and their caregivers.

Our Mission is two-fold,

  • To support our brain tumor patients, empowering them with knowledge about their diagnosis and treatment options, as well as empowering them with strategies to optimize their physical and mental health.
  • To support our patients’ caregivers, empowering them with knowledge and self-care strategies to enable effective and sustainable patient care.

Our Vision is for the NOW Program to become a comprehensive, patient- and caregiver-centered, inclusive, multidisciplinary, evidence-based program addressing all aspects of patient and caregiver wellness, with a goal of maximizing survival and quality of life after a brain tumor diagnosis.

I hope you join us for one of our upcoming live programs or review some of our previous offerings at our website. For questions or suggestions, please email us at [email protected].
